We are a registered Canadian charity based in Vancouver, British
Columbia, that helps young adults to overcome their barriers and to move
forward with their journey, enabling them to realise there is a better life.
The Mission of the foundation is to transform and enrich the lives of
troubled people aged between 15-25 years, who have been subjected to
sexual or substance abuse, or possibly both, struggling to cope with the
pressures they find themselves under. They are victims of a cruel and
sometimes cold life.
Our aim is to help already established and successful recovery programs.
More specifically, we will focus on the aftercare and provide ongoing
mentorship to the youths who have completed the course. Additionally, we
have set up a bursary to sponsor one youth a year with aspirations in the
culinary arts. Upon completion they will be offered an apprenticeship

under one of Canada's top chefs. Each year a donation is made to a worthy
environmental charity as this was one of Dan’s passions – he loved nature
as much as he enjoyed helping people.
